Saint joseph s Newsletter 19th December 2016 The last few days of term are upon us and we have journeyed through Advent reflecting on the themes of hope, peace, joy and this week love. Each week at our liturgies the children have been very prayerful and today we had our KS1 nativity (led by Year 2) today in Precious Blood church. Last week Reception and Nursery told the nativity story in words and song twice for parents and carers. We were very proud of their confidence with singing and narrating. Tomorrow will be our very final Advent Service in Precious Blood church at Please try and give up 30 minutes of your time to join us in preparing to celebrate the birth of Christ through words, prayer, song and symbols. Christmas dinner in school will take place tomorrow. The children and staff always enjoy this special meal together. It is NOT a non-uniform day! On Wednesday, each class will celebrate this very special birthday (Christmas) with a bit of a party in the morning.
