SUMMARY: A. Provide through- penetration firestop systems to maintain an effective barrier against the spread of flame, smoke, hot gases and water through openings made in fire-rated walls or floors to accommodate ELECTRICAL through-penetrating items such as conduit, busway, cables and cable tray. Firestop shall provide necessary Fire (F) and Temperature (T) ratings.
