WHAT IS Self-Care & WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS? Self-Care refers to the activities and routines practiced to benefit one s psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being. Self-Care activities should be practiced on a regular basis to promote mental well-being. Learning something new, focusing on breathing, physical exercise and expressing creativity are all examples of Self-Care activities.
Practicing self-care with students can give both the teacher and students a designated time to practice self-care. This will also demonstrate to students the importance of practicing self-care.
