EXECUTIVE INTRODUCTION Kristu Jayanti College, founded in 1999, is managed by the Bodhi Niketan Trust, formed by the members ofSt. Joseph Province of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), an indigenous religious congregation in congregation is an embodiment of the dream and vision of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a nineteenth-century educationist and social reformer in India. The college owes its inspiration to his mission andcharism. A postal stamp in 1987 was released by the Government of India in recognition of his service tohumanity.
