Prepared by the New Jersey Asphalt Pavement Association in cooperation with the New Jersey Department of Transportation Sixth Edition 2019 INTRODUCTION This guide is provided by the New Jersey Asphalt Pavement Association in cooperation with the New Jersey Interagency Materials Committee as a tool for owners, architects, engineers and developers when preparing plans and specifications for pavements to be constructed in New Jersey. The guide is not intended to be used as a substitute for professional asphalt pavement design by competent engineers using site specific traffic and soils information.
