The aerodynamic analysis is performed implementing a momentum based model on a mathematical computer pro-gram.

For the present offer analysis, a small wind turbine database has been used (allsmallwindturbines.com, 2011) to compare those models that were more simi-lar to the original idea, which is a vertical axis wind turbine with less than 1 kW of rated power. From this database we can extract that from the 558 models of wind turbines
