To receive a license by Reciprocity , your current license must be in good standing and you must meet Alabama s requirements for the license you are applying to obtain. To apply, complete the Application for Social work licensure and pay the $75 fee (as of February 2019). You will also need to provide a verification of License form and have the ASWB send your past exam scores to the Board. Licensing Renewal and Continuing Education Requirements: The Board requires all licensed Social workers to complete 30 continuing education (CE) hours every two years in order to renew their licenses.
