• The swallowing or feeding disorder is the result of an underlying medical condition. • The medical necessity of the therapy has been demonstrated by results of testing with a videofluorographic swallowing study (VFSS) or other appropriate testing in combination with an evaluation by a certified speech-language pathologist.
