A conceptual enquiry is required for optimal development of STAKEHOLDER THEORY : to reduce conceptual confusion and prevent STAKEHOLDER THEORY from developing into an accumulation of disparate ideas. Methodology A bounded systematic review was undertaken to extract the extant range of STAKEHOLDER DEFINITIONS .
