The procedure for levy, assessment and collection of Stamp duty and Registration Fee has been set out with reference to relevant Acts/ rules and executive instructions issued by the Punjab Government, Revenue Department. The important points to be seen in audit are also set out in this manual. Though these instructions need full compliance they do not, in any way debar looking out, in course of audit, for other points of interest.
