One of the often-repeated infrastructural improvements is road widening, and the ensuing relocation of utilities including those laid Underground during these road works may result in damage to the Underground utilities especially if proper care and systematic work approach are not observed. When these damages occur, delivery of Utility services becomes disrupted, citizen s quality of life becomes compromised, monetary losses confronted and worst, fatal accidents may occur.
