EligibilityOnly non-residential properties are eligible for SMIP Grant funds. Applicants must be owners of the property or have permission from the property owner(s). The applicant cannot be an agency with the City of Philadelphia, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any United States Department or Federal Agency. Use of funds is restricted to projects that support the design and construction of Stormwater mitigation measures. These may include, but are not limited to: detention and retention basins, green roofs, porous paving, and rain RequirementsProjects will be evaluated based on a variety of criteria, including, but not limited to, the total volume of runoff managed, cost-competiveness, environmental and educational benefits.
