The West Las Vegas Head Start conducts a five year plan which is the program's process of defining its strategy or direction and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people. The purpose of this plan is to better serve and support Head Start children and families. West Las Vegas Head Start The West Las Vegas Head Start is a center based program that operates five days a week, full day with three school sites. Three classrooms located at Los Ni os Elementary, one classroom at the State Pre-K Building and six classrooms at the West Las Vegas Head Start Site. Our program serves 200 children and families in San Miguel County. Ten percent of our enrollment is made available to children with special needs and if needed, 10% is also made available to our families that exceed the income guidelines.
