Proverbs 1 UNDERSTANDING GOD S WISDOM The book of Proverbs Can you remember the first three years of your life? Probably not, those who think that they can remember anything at all, are, with all likelihood, only remembering what was told to them by others about that time of their life. Those who have studied the life of children tell us that one's temperament and disposition is formed during the first five or six years of their life. It is true that during those early years of life, one is not learning "intellectual" knowledge, as much as habitude [character] being formed within the person.
