2018-10-15 1 SUPERSEDED STANDARDS AND OBSOLETE STANDARDS The tables below provide hyperlinks to searchable pdfs of SUPERSEDED publications and OBSOLETE publications in the IAEA Safety STANDARDS Series and in the IAEA Safety Series, organized by series number. Although these SUPERSEDED publications and OBSOLETE publications are not valid safety STANDARDS of the IAEA, their content may be of interest. The current safety standard that supersedes the earlier publication is also indicated, where this could be determined. The IAEA Safety Series ran from 1958 to 1996 and comprised both safety STANDARDS and other safety related publications. The IAEA Safety STANDARDS Series SUPERSEDED the IAEA Safety Series in 1996. Several publications in the IAEA Safety STANDARDS Series have since been revised and reissued. These tables will be updated from time to time as safety STANDARDS are revised, and as information is gathered on the evolution of their content.
