Japan p 20 p 22 p 23 p 25 2 Introduction The arboretum is divided in two sections, the New World and the Old World; each section is subdivided in groups representing a particular forest type which is identified by a number ranging between 1 and 40. Subgroups are identified by the letters A, B, C or D. In order to facilitate the identification of the trees, these lists that can be used at the foot of the trees have the aim of giving a Synoptical view of the Species present in a particular group or subgroup.
