Our name was changed to tata Engineering and Locomotive Company Limited on September 24, 1960, and to tata Motors Limited on July 29, 2003. tata Motors Limited is incorporated and domiciled in India. We commenced operations as a steam locomotive manufacturer. This business was discontinued in 1971.
