Root cause: To increase the security of the DEA 701, some modifications were done on the plastic box containing it. Because of these modifications, the pins of the hardware key COULD NOT CORRECTLY TOUCH the pads ON. THE BOARD used to download the setting files. The pads on the mainboard are centered inside the window (see Picture 1) and, instead, it is necessary that they are NOT CENTERED (see Picture 2) or Technician is not using the right version of MemWriter.
