Using this standardallows reduced costs for on-board, ground and testequipment, as well as for spacecraft testing and in-orbitoperation. This paper introduces the CCSDS/ESA standards,and presents the supporting standard Components developedby ESA and a typical TM/TC system based on thesecomponents.
