Two of the Ten Commandments address honesty: “Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour” (Exodus 20:15-16). And Jesus told us, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). It is impossible to love God with all our hearts, souls, and minds if we are dishonest and act as if He doesn’t care.
