(TAR-2008) 10-14-03 Page 1 of 1 ADDENDUM regarding LEAD- based PAINTFor use in the lease of residential property built before TO RESIDENTIAL LEASE CONCERNING THE PROPERTY WARNING STATEMENT: Housing built before 1978 may contain lead- based paint . Lead frompaint, paint chips, and dust can pose health hazards if not managed properly. Lead exposure is especiallyharmful to young children and pregnant women. Before renting pre-1978 housing, lessors (landlords) mustdisclose the presence of known lead- based paint and/or lead- based paint hazards in the dwelling. Lessees(tenants) must also receive a federally approved pamphlet on lead poisoning DISCLOSURE:(1) Presence of lead- based paint and/or lead- based paint hazards.
