Though such cases are more easily found in culturesthat have a general belief in reincarnation, they occur in theWest as well. This article describes the case of JamesLeininger, an American child who at age two began havingintense nightmares of a plane crash. He then described beingan American pilot who was killed when his plane was shotdown by the Japanese.
