The study identified the CAUSE and EFFECT of TEENAGE pregnancy among teenagers in Kontagora Local Government Area of Niger State. The study adopted the simple percentage survey research design involving 40. teenagers. The researcher questions were divided into two sections, section A contains the respondent's personal data and section B contains the subject of the study. Simple percentage rate was used to analyze the data collected. The result revealed that the age at which teenagers engaged in sexual intercourse is too early , socio- economic background, early marriage and traditional gender roles, peer pressure, lack of sex education and non-used of contraceptive during sexual intercourse are causes of TEENAGE pregnancy .
