THE CHURCH: THE STRUCTURE AND THE FUNCTION
THE church : THE STRUCTURE AND THE FUNCTION . Since the Holy Spirit has been sent to the church and His FUNCTION is within individual members which, together, FUNCTION as the " church ", we should understand something about the church in order to understand His work. The scriptural church is identified in two primary ways; It's STRUCTURE and it's FUNCTION . We can define the church in many areas but these two objective areas are how the church is identified. While the church is certainly not bricks and mortar, it does have a God designed STRUCTURE . The STRUCTURE has a purpose that is defined by it's FUNCTION . A church with no FUNCTION is worthless to man and to God. The church has accepted so many things as scriptural that have only been the traditions and teachings of men.
