Lacking any cohesive post 1966 MUDDY listing (1966 being the cut off point for the first edition of Leadbitter and Slaven s Blues Records ) I decided to compile a post 1966 MUDDY WATERS DISCOGRAPHY , the aim being to possibly publish it in Pickin The Blues magazine. Fred got in touch with me in answer to a query in PTB; he had been working on a MUDDY disco on his own so we decided to pool resources. We took the decision to make it really comprehensive by including all the sessions MUDDY had played on, not just issues under his own name, and to list as many issues and reissues as possible.
