CHARACTERS: NARRATOR (1, 2 or 3) GINGERBREAD OLD WOMAN OLD MAN COW HORSE PIG FOX OPTIONAL CHARACTERS HEN RABBIT DOG NARRATOR: Once upon a time there was a little old woman a little old man. They lived in a cottage. They were very sad because they had no children. OLD MAN: I am very sad, I would like to have a child. OLD WOMAN: I have an idea!. We can make GINGERBREAD cookies! NARRATOR: So one day the old woman made a GINGERBREAD cookie. OLD WOMAN: I need: flour, sugar, butter, ginger and sugar candies. OLD MAN: Ok I help you. NARRATOR: And they started making the GINGERBREAD cookie. When they finished the man said: OLD MAN: Ok, we can put it in the oven. NARRATOR: And the put the GINGERBREAD man in the oven. After 10 minutes they opened the oven. OLD WOMAN: what a nice smell. NARRATOR: But the GINGERBREAD man jumped up and he run out. OLD WOMAN AND LITTLE OLD MAN: stop, stop!
