TITLE 19 VIRGIN ISLAND RULES & REGULATIONS Part VI: Regulatory Provisions Concerning Public Health Chapter 56: Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Rules and Regulations ** Division 1. General Regulations Section 1560-1 Definitions The following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly requires another meaning or unless elsewhere expressly stated for specific application: (a) "Active life" means the period of operation beginning with the initial receipt of solid waste and ending at completion of closure activities in accordance with Section 1560-900 of this Subchapter 1560. (b) "Active portion" means that part of a facility or unit that has received or is receiving wastes and that have not been closed in accordance with Section 1560-900 of this Subchapter.
