TRAINING REPORT
and 59% of women of reproductive age were iodine deficiency. Iron deficiency was the main cause of anemia in these populations. Anemia affected 50% of children under two years old, and 29% of children under the age of five. The prevalence of anemia among women was 24%, the highest levels were found in GBAO and in RRS4.
