It is revealedthat in order to minimize the mean square error (MSE) for theestimation, the UAV should collect the data from as many SNs aspossible, based on which an optimization problem is formulatedto Design the UAV s Trajectory subject to its practical mobilityconstraints. Although the problem is non-convex and NP-hard, weshow that the optimal UAV Trajectory consists of connected linesegments only. With this simplification, an efficient suboptimalsolution is proposed by leveraging the classic traveling sales-man problem (TSP) method and applying convex optimizationtechniques.
