At the center is the Federal TRANSPORTATION Improvement Program (FTIP), which forms the foundation of the RTP PROJECT investment strategy and represents the first six years of committed funding. This RTP incorporates the adopted 2015 FTIP and Amendments 1 7, and 12. The RTP contains an additional financially constrained set of TRANSPORTATION projects above and beyond the FTIP. Finally, the Strategic Plan represents an unconstrained list of potential projects that the region would pursue given additional funding and note that within the PROJECT list, the completion year for non-modeled projects that are exempt from conformity may be inconsistent with the upcoming 2017 FTIP.
