This adoption is one critical component in achieving Joint Information Environment (JIE) and LandWarNet (LWN) 2020 objectives. By transitioning to Cloud Computing , the Army expects to realize efficiencies in data center operations, application performance, and reduced overall IT costs. The Army Enterprise Cloud Computing Reference architecture (AECCRA) is being developed incrementally to provide guidance for the Army s transition to Cloud Computing .
