SUBJECT: INSPECTION REPORT on Fire Protection Concerns at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant The attached REPORT discusses our review of allegations regarding fire protection concerns at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant. This REPORT contains seven recommendations that, if fully implemented, should help ensure that the issues identified during this INSPECTION are corrected. Management fully concurred with our recommendations. We conducted this INSPECTION from May 2021 through December 2021 in accordance with the council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency's Quality Standards for INSPECTION and Evaluation (December 2020).
