UB 7. Denominational Leadership Gathering Origin of the Study The delegate body of the 2017 Annual Conference received the report of the Review and Evaluation Committee. The first recommendation of that report recommended that the Leadership Team be assigned responsibility for coordinating a Gathering of Denominational Leadership every three to five years, to "include (but not necessarily be limited to) representation from the Mission and Ministry Board staff, Annual Conference agencies, the Leadership Team, and the district executives.". Recommendation #1. The Review and Evaluation Committee recommends to the Mission and Ministry Board that the duties of the Leadership Team as described in Section of the Manual of Organization and Polity be amended as follows: g. Coordinate a Gathering of Denominational Leadership every three to five years. The Leadership Gathering would potentially include representatives from Denominational and agency staff and board members, Annual Conference-elected Leadership , and district Leadership .
