Data Quality Evaluation The data were evaluated for quality using the USDA’s Data Quality Evaluation System (DQES) developed by scientists at the NDL as part of the Nutrient Databank System (9). These procedures were based on criteria described earlier (8, 15) and modified for the first release of the flavonoid database in 2003 (10).
