As there are three distinct models, each supplied originally in left hand drive (LHD) format and right hand drive (RHD) format, it is imperative that you tell us at the time of first contact just exactly what you own - ie. RHD Drophead 140 etc. We use all the obvious abbreviations, as follows: 140 R XK140 Roadster 140 DHC XK140 Drophead Coup 140 FHC XK140 Fixedhead Coup or S/E Special Equipment LHD Left Hand Drive RHD Right Hand Drive IDENTIFYING YOUR CAR All 140 s have a chassis number firmly stamped on the flat surface on the near side - looking down at a point adja-cent to where the exhaust pipes exit beneath the bulkhead.
