K C J I S N E W S The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) has noticed an unusual amount of Kansas Disposition Reports (KDRs) being submitted via paper with the ACS column marked with a C. After a little research, it seems that this column is being misused frequently, leading to inaccuracies on criminal history records. Officers may be filling this field out with a C thinking they are reporting that the crime has been completed, but that is not what the ACS column is to be used for. The ACS field on the KDR is not to be confused with the Incident Based Reporting (IBR) Kansas Standard Offense Report (KSOR) and Kansas Standard Arrest Report (KSAR).
