WSDOT SOP 7321 Volumetric Design for Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA) This standard for mix Design evaluation uses aggregate and mixture properties to produce ahot-mix Asphalt (HMA) job-mix formula. The mix Design is based on the Volumetric properties of the HMA in terms of the air voids (V ), voids in the mineral aggregate (VMA), and voids a filled with Asphalt (VFA). This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety problems associated with its use.
