If you keep 50 birds or more, you must complete the compulsory Poultry Registration form - Keeper of 50 or More Birds (IRA81). You are breaking the law if you do not register 50 or more birds. In completing this form you agree to APHA contacting you in the event of disease outbreaks (such as Avian Influenza (bird flu)) in your area. You also agree to APHA giving you advice and information on biosecurity and animal disease control.
