WAREHOUSE SECURITY best PRACTICE guidelines CUSTOMS-TRADE PARTNERSHIP AGAINST TERRORISM BACKGROUND In the aftermath of September 11, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in cooperation with its trade partners initiated the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT). One of its goals is to ensure that C-TPAT partners improve the SECURITY of their supply chains pursuant to C-TPAT SECURITY criteria. The WAREHOUSE SECURITY best practices was developed by the International WAREHOUSE and Logistics Association (IWLA) in response to customer queries regarding WAREHOUSE SECURITY and C-TPAT certification.
