Current Setting with Lincoln Engine Driven Welders The following recommendations are based on the following assump-tions: • Welding is done in the vertical down (5G or 6G) position. • The root pass is made with a 5/32” (4.0mm) diameter electrode. • A cellulosic electrode (E-XX10) is being used.
