They are re-lated. If one differentiates the cumulative distri-bution curve, the differential distribution is ob-tained. If one integrates the differential distribu-tion curve, the cumulative distribution is ob-tained. Differential distribution : The differential dis-tribution shows the relative amount* at each size .
