World bank and IMF conditionality : a development injustice Eurodad report June 2006. About this report This report examines the conditions that the World bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) attach to their development lending in some of the World 's poorest countries. It is based on a desk-based study carried out by Eurodad which examined the content of current (as of February 2006) and previous World bank and IMF development finance contracts for a selection of twenty poor countries across the World . The report was produced by Eurodad and partially financed with the help of Oxfam International. It was written and researched by Hetty Kovach and Yasmina Lansman. About Eurodad Eurodad (the European Network on Debt and development ) is a network of 50 non- governmental organizations from 15 European countries working on issues related to debt, development finance and poverty reduction. The Eurodad network offers a platform for exploring issues, collecting intelligence and ideas, and undertaking collective advocacy.
