Tuesday. March 21. 1995 (7:00 pm, 105 Bear Hall, UNCW) Weynette Haun, author of countless volumes of NC abstracts, will speak on court minutes. Mrs. Haunts contributions to NC genealogy are immeasurable. She is a former recipient of the NC genealogical society 's life time contribution award. Saturday. April 29. 1995 (11:30 am. Moore's Creek National Park) ONHGS will have their annual picnic. Due to a conflict in dates, Mr. Bill Bennett will not be able to speak that day, but another speaker will be provided. Bring a covered dish and enjoy the fellowship of genealogists, the beauty of the park, and the hospitality of Pender County. Saturday. May 20 1995 (9:00 am. large meeting room, New' Hanover County Public Library) ONHGS will have a genealogy fair. Speakers will feature many topics including computer genealogy. An "ask the experts" session will help you with your personal research problems. There is no cost for the workshop.
