NIMONIC alloy alloy 75 (UNS N06075 & ) is an 80/20 nickel-chromium alloy withcontrolled additions of titanium and carbon. Firstintroduced in the 1940s for turbine blades in theprototype Whittle jet engines, it is now mostly used forsheet applications calling for oxidation and scalingresistance coupled with medium strength at highoperating temperatures. It is still used in gas turbineengineering and also for industrial thermal processing, furnace components and heat-treatment equipment. It isreadily fabricated and physical properties for NIMONIC alloy 75 aregiven in Tables 2-4.
