The Guide may be used as you browse our library shelves for your chosen topic or to assist you once you have searched the library catalogue and are ready to look for items on the items in Cairns Libraries are organised using the Dewey Classification Decimal (DDC) System, which categorises books according to the subject matter, so that similar topics are shelved close together.
