Act, 1958. 1. Short Title, extent, commencement and application. -- (1) This Act may be called the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Punjab. (3) It shall come into force on such date as Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
