• Vertical wood curb nailers may be secured to a structural member or the roof deck using addi-tional wood blocking, metal angle supports, or a combination of wood and metal. Curbs may consist of prefabricated (insulated where appro-priate) metal curbs and, when securing flashing is necessary, should have nailers at the top edge.
