PRECAUTIONS If a patient has a diminished skin sensation, the full benefit of the therapy may not be realised. If alternative placement of the electrodes over normally sensitive skin is not possible, extra care should be taken. Patients with epilepsy may experience an adverse response to the visual display (flashing lights / computer screen).
