Warning Intercommunication System. FIP – Fire Indicator Panel is where fire alarms register and are forwarded to the Fire . Service. The panel may also house an Emergency Warning System. MCP – Manual Call Point is the small red box with the glass panel and button. Breaking the glass and pushing the button will activate the Fire Alarm.
