ENDOCRINE TEST PROTOCOLS
www.bcchildrens.ca- Monitor patient throughout test (glucometer) at all time points. A 50% decrease in blood glucose compared to baseline is expected. In case of blood glucose ≤2.5 mmol/L, the patient should be given a snack (juice + cheese and crackers). Continue to collect blood samples as per protocol. - A bag of D10/W should be available at bedside.
